Itinerary

* Please note: Itinerary is subject to weather and availability.

Day 1 – Discovering scrambling
We'll begin by discussing your previous mountain experience and what you'd like to achieve from the weekend. Heading into suitable mountain terrain, we'll introduce the fundamentals of scrambling, exploring how movement on rock differs from ordinary hillwalking.

Day 2 – Exploring classic scrambling terrain
Today we'll build on your developing skills with a journey through one of Eryri's classic Grade 1 scrambling routes. You'll practise identifying the best line, moving efficiently over rocky ground and making decisions about how to approach different sections.

Day 3 – Your next mountain adventure
Our final day brings together the skills you've developed throughout the weekend on another exciting mountain journey. You'll take a more active role in planning the route, identifying suitable scrambling lines and making decisions as the terrain changes.
We'll finish by reviewing your progress and discussing suitable routes and opportunities for further development, including progression towards more technical scrambling.

This is a suggested itinerary. Routes and activities will be adapted to suit the weather, mountain conditions, and the experience of the group. Specific scrambling routes and grades cannot be guaranteed.
