Join us for a week in the breathtaking waters of Snowdonia as we work together to elevate your canoeing skills to new heights. Led by our team of experts, this program is tailor-made to boost your confidence and enhance your abilities, aiming to exceed your paddling expectations. On day one we’ll revisit the foundation skills of effective open canoeing. This will be a shake down day to see where you’re paddling is at and working with the instructor to understand goals and the path to get there. As the week progresses, we’ll focus on your individual needs and explore a variety of both open water in windy conditions and on whitewater up to grade 3 (4). This is an immersive 2-day course where you’ll learn how to stay safe paddling in a grade 2/3 environment. Here to provide you with the peace of mind that you know how to keep yourself and your peers safe whilst independently paddling in a moderate environment. We’ll cover the safe practices and practical solutions to deal with common problems that may happen on the river this includes trip planning, swimming in whitewater, chase boating and retrieving people and equipment.
