This five-day canoeing course in the breathtaking landscape of Eryri (Snowdonia) offers both beginners and those looking to enhance their skills an opportunity to build confidence in solo and tandem canoeing. The course starts with learning the foundational skills of effective movement and progresses through the week with opportunities to paddle in various environments like slow-moving rivers and lakes. The entire experience is supervised by highly experienced instructors, and all equipment is provided, ensuring a safe and controlled learning environment. All equipment is provided, ensuring a complete and hassle-free experience.

The Objectives

Gain confidence and see your solo and tandem boat handling skills develop and improve; Take on 5 days of practical learning on the lakes and rivers of beautiful Snowdonia; Learn your skills right from the get-go from our highly experienced instructors.

Itinerary

You’ll start by developing the foundation skills to manoeuvre the canoes around effectively both solo and tandem. As the week progresses, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills on various journeys, taking in slow-moving rivers and lakes. Later in the week, you’ll progress to faster-moving rivers.

Experience Required

None required - you’ll just need to be fit enough for five days of activity, but you don’t need to do any other preparation.
