This course would be a perfect stepping stone for scramblers who have done some grade 1 scrambles or attended our introductory course, but don’t yet feel ready for our advanced scrambling course. Or you would simply like to cover more ground with the support of an expert guide.

You’ll continue to develop your personal movement skills on rock and building up further your confidence on exposed scrambling terrain.
The small ratios allow us to personalise the course to support you gaining more scrambling experience on your journey to independence.
Areas such as route choice considering the prevailing weather, using scrambling guidebooks and then finding and following the scramble.
You’ll spend time in the mountains on grade two scrambles.
You’ll consolidate your judgement and decision making to traverse scrambling terrain safely deploying a rope as needed.|
Spend 3 days with one of our expert guides on great scrambles, learning and having an amazing time.
But that said we will support you to make wise choices about exciting scrambling routes, move efficiently and safely over steeper terrain, interpret scrambling guidebooks and navigate on scrambles safely.
We will look at how you can use a rope to safeguard more exposed sections within a scramble.
