Ready to push your open canoeing further? Join us for a full day of expert coaching on the open waters of Eryri (Snowdonia), designed around your goals, your paddling and your next challenge.

Build confidence in stronger winds, refine your technique and develop the skills and tactics needed to become a more capable and adaptable open water paddler.

This one-day masterclass is designed for confident open canoeists who are ready to develop their skills in more challenging open water conditions.

We'll start by looking at your individual experience, ambitions and areas you'd like to improve. From there, we'll select an appropriate open water venue with suitable wind exposure, allowing you to develop your skills in an environment that provides the right level of challenge.

Eryri offers a fantastic variety of open water environments, giving us the flexibility to tailor the day to the weather, conditions and your goals.

Whether you want to improve your boat control, become more confident paddling in stronger winds or develop your open water tactics, our expert coaches will help you take the next step.

Experience Required

This masterclass is aimed at confident open canoeists who already have experience paddling on open water and want to develop their skills in stronger winds and more demanding conditions. You should: Be confident paddling an open canoe solo in Force 3 winds Have experience of paddling on open water Be familiar with self-rescue techniques Be comfortable handling your canoe independently Be keen to develop your technical and tactical skills Be ready to challenge yourself and learn in a more advanced environment This isn't an introductory course. It's for paddlers who already have a solid foundation and are ready to refine, develop and extend their open water skills.
