This guided one-day walk explores the Moel Siabod and Moelwynion mountain range, offering a chance to discover some of the quieter and more characterful landscapes of Eryri.

The aim of the day is to provide an enjoyable and informative guided mountain walk, allowing participants to:

Enjoy walking in the uplands with the support and knowledge of an experienced mountain guide. Most importantly, it's about getting outdoors, enjoying the scenery and having a great day in the mountains.
The exact route will depend on the weather and mountain conditions on the day. Your guide will choose a suitable route that allows the group to experience a variety of environments within the Moel Siabod and Moelwynion range.
Lunch – Take in the Views
We'll stop for a picnic lunch in the mountains and enjoy a well-earned rest. With the landscape around you, it's the perfect opportunity to take in the scenery, recharge and enjoy the views before continuing the walk. Residential bookings: Packed lunches are included. Non-residential bookings: Please bring your own lunch and snacks.
We'll finish the day back at Plas y Brenin by around 5:00pm, where you can put your feet up, enjoy some well-earned tea and cake and join your guide for a relaxed debrief.

This walk is suitable for anyone with a reasonable level of fitness and some previous experience of walking in an upland environment. |You should be comfortable:
Walking for around 4–5 hours
Walking on paths and rougher, off-path terrain
Being outdoors for a full day in changeable mountain weather
Carrying your own day rucksack
Walking over varied and sometimes uneven mountain terrain |You don't need to be an experienced mountaineer. If you enjoy walking and would like to discover more of the landscapes, history and stories of Eryri, this could be the perfect autumn adventure.
