Overview

Our top coaches will put you through your paces, coaching you to hone your technique, during this five-day programme. You'll work closely with our experienced and qualified coaches to help you take your paddling skills further than you ever thought possible. You'll enjoy lots of great paddling and you'll feel your skill level soar as the week goes on. A great week of technique coaching for competent grade III paddlers with some experience of grade IV and a reliable moving water roll.

What to Expect

You'll be spending most of your time on advanced rivers of grade 3-4(5). We'll aim to get you on different styles of river e.g. tight and technical and bigger volume, depending on water levels.

Experience Required

  • Competent Grade III paddler with some experience of Grade IV.
  • A reliable moving water roll.

We want to help you focus on achieving your goals, so comfortable accommodation (with WIFI included) and good food are part of the deal - you don't need to think about sorting this out for yourself. Support is on hand from our friendly, and exceptionally well qualified, staff to help develop your understanding and personal skills. They also help you to formulate an appropriate action plan for your further development. What's more, you'll have access to our extensive range of paddling equipment and clothing to use whilst honing your chosen skills. This gives you the perfect opportunity to test out that new piece of kit you've had your eye on. You just bring yourself, your 'can do' attitude, and determination to achieve excellence.

What do I need to bring?
All you really need to bring is sufficient base clothing to wear, and some suitable footwear. Our stores have a wide range of Peak UK soft wear as well as paddles and poles. We have an extensive selection of different styles of open canoes from a range of manufacturers. This is an ideal opportunity to try something new if you'd like to. If you prefer the familiar, feel free to bring along your own kit.
How should I prepare?
You'll need to make sure you're fit enough for five challenging days on advanced water, and have kayaked regularly before attending.
