On this course our aim is to share our passion for kayaking and provide you with the foundational skills necessary for a lifetime of exploration in kayaking.

Whether in our rolling pool, lake, or stunning local venues in Eryri (Snowdonia), this course will focus on building your understanding, confidence, and boat-handling abilities, setting you on the path for further adventures in this exciting sport.

The Objectives

By the end of this course, you will have:

Itinerary

Day 1: Building Foundations
Morning: Introduction to kayaking, including rolling pool training.
Afternoon: Practical experience on our lake and hands-on training with our extensive fleet of kayaks.

Day 2: Exploring Eryri
Morning: Further skills-building and exploration of local venues in Eryri.
Afternoon: Guided exploration of Snowdonia, confidence-building, and enjoyment of all that this region has to offer.

Whether you are completely new to kayaking or looking to refine your skills, this weekend course offers a comprehensive and enjoyable introduction to this engaging sport. Join us for an unforgettable adventure and take home skills that will last a lifetime.

Experience Required

You should be water confident and able to swim. You need to be fit enough to enjoy two full days of activity. You don’t need to do any other specific preparation, just bring your desire to learn some skills, and how to enjoy kayaking safely.
