Overview

This is a two day course aimed at riders that want to build on their skills to improve on their style and flow on the trail. Our friendly, highly qualified Instructors will help you to develop good technical riding habits right from the start, which will make all the difference in the long term.

 You'll spend the two days making use of our purpose-built skills course and some of the local mountain bike trails, which include some of the finest mountain biking routes in Britain, with world class single track routes. The Gwydyr Forest trails and the Penmachno trails are right outside our back door. Other classic trails at Coed y Brenin and Coed Llandegla are only a short drive from our centre, as well as some classic natural routes.

We'll start off by checking your current skills, and then coach you in the areas you want to improve in.

Experience Required

You should have some MTB experience.

As both your body and mind will be working hard whilst you're with us, we want to help you focus on achieving the goal you've set yourself. So if you're staying with us, comfortable accommodation (with WIFI included) and home-cooked meals are part of the deal, you don't need to think about sorting this out for yourself. Support is on hand from our friendly, and exceptionally well qualified staff, to help develop your understanding and personal skills. They also help you to formulate an appropriate action plan for your further development. You'll also have use of our bike workshop facility. And we'll provide on site transport.

What do I need to bring?
You should bring your own MTB plus your regular MTB equipment and clothing, helmet etc. You can hire a mountain bike locally and arrange for it to be delivered to our base in time for the start of your course. How should I prepare?
We recommend that you get out riding as much as possible so that we spend the two days moving your skills forward, rather than polishing up your previous skill levels and confidence, to get he most from this course.
