Two days getting to grips with slicey kayaks. First day spent looking at both white water techniques and the intricacies of slicey kayaks and how to use them to your advantage. Then progressing to more advanced slicey kayak skills like getting vertical, rock-spins and cartwheels.

Experience Required

Competent roll and happy on grade three.

What do I need to bring?
All you really need to bring is sufficient base clothing to wear, some suitable footwear and your slicey kayak and equipment. Kayaks can be borrowed on prior arrangement.
How should I prepare?
Spend some time in your kayak honing things like forward drive, edge work and accelerations, recent experience on grade two and three rapids.
