What do I need to bring?
Although you don’t need to bring any specific First Aid equipment, you should be prepared for whatever the weather will be. We suggest the following as a minimum:Waterproof clothing
Warm clothing
Hat
Gloves
Sunglasses
This REC First Aid training course is specifically designed for the outdoor environment. You will learn how to be a first-responder applying practical indoor and outdoor scenario-based first aid learning to real-life situations.
It meets the First Aid requirements for HSE Emergency First Aid at Work, Mountain Training, British Canoeing, British Cycling and the Royal Yachting Association.

This first aid training course runs for 16-hours over two days with our experienced instructors and the support of REC.
Signs of life, calling for help, airway issues, CPR and AED’s, bleeding and shock, casualty handling, deformities, common illnesses, Hypothermia, Hyperthermia, burns, bites and stings and other minor ailments. First Aid kit requirements and report of first aid incidents. This course covers the requirement for HSE Emergency First Aid at Work
