Overview

You will learn how to be a first responder by applying practical indoor and outdoor scenario-based first aid learning to real-life situations. It meets the First Aid requirements for HSE Emergency First Aid at Work, Mountain Training, British Canoeing, British Cycling and the Royal Yachting Association.

The Objectives

You will become a confident First Aider in the Outdoor Environment and meet the requirements of HSE EFAW. You’ll come away from this course with the skills and knowledge to manage casualties in the outdoor environment, giving you even more confidence and enjoyment in all your adventures.

This first aid training course runs for 16-hours over two days with our experienced instructors and the support of REC.

Experience Required

None. Be prepared to undertake first aid scenarios out of doors whatever the weather, as well as to work indoors and take notes.

This REC First Aid training course is specifically designed for the outdoor environment.
