The Objectives

By the end of the course, you'll have improved your foundation sea kayak journeying skills in more challenging environments.

Itinerary

* Please note: Itinerary is subject to weather and availability.

What to Expect

You'll spend day one at a local coastal venue to revisit your essential foundation skills ahead of applying them in more challenging environments. During the rest of the course you'll visit a range of venues to help develop your skills. Ideally, you'll spend at least one day in a suitable tide race, one day around a rocky coastline, and another on waves both at sea and on surf zone.

Experience Required

Sea kayaking experience in a range of sea states up to force 4 winds and a good level of fitness that enables you to paddle 15-20 miles per day.

We want to help you focus on achieving your goals, so comfortable accommodation (with WIFI included) and good food are part of the deal - you don't need to think about sorting this out for yourself. Support is on hand from our friendly, and exceptionally well qualified, staff to help develop your understanding and personal skills. They also help you to formulate an appropriate action plan for your further development. What's more, you'll have access to our extensive range of paddling equipment and clothing to use whilst honing your chosen skills. This gives you the perfect opportunity to test out that new piece of kit you've had your eye on. You just bring yourself, your 'can do' attitude, and determination to achieve excellence.
