Overview

This week gives you the experience and skills you need to move your boat around in the environment and make key decisions on the river. Our highly qualified and experienced team help you reach the next level in a sport you're passionate about. You'll concentrate on developing boat positioning skills, refining your judgement and practical techniques to help you become a good white water paddler.

The Objectives

You'll have built on your foundation skills in more challenging river types such as bigger volume, tight and technical and drops.

What to Expect


You'll spend each day at a suitable local venue working to progress your skills to reach your desired level of performance. On day one you'll revisit your foundation skills before progressing to a range of river types including bigger volume, tight and technical and drops.

Experience Required

Competent Grade II paddler with some experience of Grade III. A reliable flat water roll.

We want to help you focus on achieving your goals, so comfortable accommodation (with WIFI included) and good food are part of the deal - you don't need to think about sorting this out for yourself. Support is on hand from our friendly, and exceptionally well qualified, staff to help develop your understanding and personal skills. They also help you to formulate an appropriate action plan for your further development. What's more, you'll have access to our extensive range of paddling equipment and clothing to use whilst honing your chosen skills. This gives you the perfect opportunity to test out that new piece of kit you've had your eye on. You just bring yourself, your 'can do' attitude, and determination to achieve excellence.
